I’m a clinical social worker by day and a painter, poet and writer by night. I have many interests, including helping people become their best, most thoroughly-alive selves. It’s my passion at work and a hope that my art and writing might touch people in such a way. (Click HERE to visit my art website.)
I like stories that demonstrate a way through, speak to universal human values like gratitude, forgiveness, openness and perseverance. I like to create art in the spontaneity that lingers between control and chaos, where I’ve let go, have lost myself in the moment, perhaps consumed, trying to find the right word, or trying to resolve a design or color problem.
I like to get a little lost. It’s there I think I can be most original, discover something new that feels fresh, take and give the most of life inside me.
